Flow Praxis Privacy Policy

Effective August 26, 2026

The short version: your session data lives on your device. The only time any of it leaves is when you use the AI coaching features, and then it goes only to our server and to Anthropic to generate your recommendations. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no selling anything to anyone.

What Flow Praxis stores, and where

Everything you record in Flow Praxis — your flow sessions, reflections, goals, preferences, and optional profile name/email — is stored locally on your device. There is no Flow Praxis account and no cloud copy of your history. Deleting the app deletes this data.

What leaves your device

When you request AI coaching (personalized strategies or pattern insights), the app sends your recent session data and current check-in answers to our server (hosted on Cloudflare), which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your recommendations. This data is used only to produce your response. Requests include a random device identifier (a UUID generated on first launch — it contains nothing about you or your device) used for rate limiting and your free-call allowance.

If you never use the AI features, or use the app offline, nothing leaves your device.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to Flow Praxis Pro, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check subscription status, keyed to the same random device identifier. We never see your payment details, Apple ID, or receipt contents beyond subscription status.

Notifications

Session reminders (like the five-minute wind-down warning) are local notifications scheduled on your device. They involve no server.
